I\u2019m on the hunt for contemporary stories of love and friendship told with humour, heart and sizzling chemistry (think <i>Rye Lane<\/i>, <i>Evenings and Weekends<\/i>, <i>The Rachel Incident<\/i>, <i>Deep Cuts,\u00a0<\/i>anything by Emily Henry); immersive, funny, moving family dramas (<i>The Bee Sting<\/i>, <i>The Gathering<\/i>, <i>Homegoing - <\/i>and I loved the film <i>Sentimental Value<\/i>); and clever, twisty, layered thrillers\/mysteries and detective stories (<i>The God of the Woods,<\/i> Tana French\u2019s <i>Dublin Murders\u00a0<\/i>series, <i>Dept. Q<\/i>). I am looking for narrative non-fiction, memoir, and books exploring pop and celebrity culture, alternative histories, modern life, psychology, the internet.
