<\/span><\/p> <\/p> <\/span><\/p> Jonny Geller joined Curtis Brown in 1993 as an assistant after a short career as an actor. He became a literary agent in 1995 after discovering a novel on the unsolicited pile which went on to sell rights around the world. After taking part in a Management Buyout in 2001, he became CEO of the Agency in 2012 and is now CEO of The Curtis Brown Group, the parent company of Curtis Brown agency, C&W, Ed Victor Ltd, Curtis Brown Creative (CBC), Tavistock Wood, Markham Froggatt and Irwin, Cuba Productions and Chair of CBC. Jonny has previously been awarded\u00a0<\/span>Literary Agent of the Year and has been listed on\u00a0<\/span>The Bookseller\u2019s 150\u00a0<\/a><\/span>every year since\u00a0<\/span>its inception. He has also been named one of the Evening Standard's 1000 Most Influential People in London<\/a> and was profiled in\u00a0The Telegraph<\/a>.<\/span><\/p> A regular speaker at conferences and events, Jonny hosted a TEDx Talk in 2016 on\u00a0<\/span>\u2018What Makes a Bestseller\u2019<\/span><\/a><\/span> <\/span><\/span>and has appeared on the Only Takes Notes<\/a> podcast<\/span><\/span>.
